Your tasks

• Drive iterative design processes of products and features from start to finish and be an important part of the associated ideation.
• Based on user research, create information architectures, use cases, wireframes, mockups, user flows and interactive design prototypes.
• Work on the vision, strategy and conception of value-adding user experiences for applications as well as our products and digital services with a focus on usability and user experience.
• Develop the Voith Design System and the UX/UI strategy in close cooperation with global communication and product management.
• Communicate and present solutions and decisions convincingly to all relevant stakeholders.
• Support our user interface designers in the development and realisation of prototypes.

Your profile

• Successfully completed qualification in interface design, media design, communication design or comparable and at least five years of relevant experience in the UX field in an industrial environment.
• Solid repertoire of tools and methods that will help you reliably achieve your goals and continue to develop.
• Sound knowledge of Figma and design tokens; experience in web front-end concepts, CSS, HTML, web components and the creation of interactive designs in the software sector is advantageous.
• Be able to explain complicated issues simply and comprehensibly to your stakeholders (designers, developers, product managers and customers).
• Knowledge of the introduction, establishment and further development of a design system; ideally experience with applications from the manufacturing and processing industry.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, and willingness to occasionally travel worldwide.
• Strong sense of design, quality awareness, strong communication and presentation skills, enjoy working in an agile environment and a hands-on mentality.
