Senior/Executive Specialist Global SAP BW Applications (m/f/d) Hybrid Option GER

As Senior/Executive Specialist Global SAP BW Applications, you become part of our expert team. We oversee the main global BASF SAP BW applications for business steering and cost information.

• In this role, you act as the Global Application Support of our OCEAN and Global Application Owner of our Global Product Costing BW. For both you are the main contact for the system users, acting as well as contact for Controlling, Finance and IT units.
• With the support of the Global Application Owner and by working together with IT units and the user community, you develop the application further and ensure the data quality. Besides that, you play a key role as part of the Global Application Owner community in our Hub.
• You prepare and conduct training sessions, also prepare tests and conduct them. As well as assist end users in performing the acceptance test.
• As Application Owner and Application Support, you are the main responsible for the activities relevant regarding month-end-closing, to ensure an on-time data availability in a high quality.
• You create, coordinate, and provide training services, support the effective usage of the application for end users, and thus facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the IT and controlling units.
• You create required reports for the operating departments and regions and answer ad-hoc requests for reports and analyses. Further, you are responsible for ensuring the documentation of new processes within our team is based on a high level of quality.
• In projects you take over ownership for specific tasks and actively participate in the investigation and implementation of trend-setting reporting features.

• successfully completed studies in the field of economics or IT or a comparable vocational education
• relevant professional experience in the areas of controlling and/or finance, ideally gained in a shared service center
• good knowledge of SAP R/3 in the modules FI/CO, ideally relevant experience with SAP Business Warehouse
• fluent communication skills in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
• high customer orientation and successful ability to work in a team

• 30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical options.
• Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks.
• Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
• Gross annual salary (full-time): 45.000 - 49.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience, 54.000 - 58.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
