We are a young team consisting of specialists in drive technologies for turbomachines and project management. As a team we are responsible and work together with customers in drive train retrofits, modernization and electrification projects, upgrades of Voith installed based, replacement of old units, internal and external coordination of brown field projects in the power oil and gas industry.

Your tasks

• Your function is as worldwide technical and commercial contact person for external and internal customers, supporting and coordinating the internal interfaces (engineering, sales, technical service, purchasing, commercial, cost calculation, etc.) in contract negotiations and clarification of technical problems.
• You are responsible for providing technical and commercial support to the customer, considering technical and economic aspects, following a technical inventory of installed units, checking the state of art of the current Voith product portfolio, feasibility analysis, TCO calculations, customer specifications and commercial conditions.
• You are responsible for the preparation of plans and quotations in SAP for geared variable speed drives, hydrodynamic couplings, modernizations, retrofit of electric drives, gear optimization, replacements, spare units, upgrades in cooperation with internal specialist departments.
• The coordination and execution of retrofit- spare units projects within the scope of a (partial) project management in cooperation with internal and external departments (engineering, sales, technical service, purchasing, suppliers, commercials) as well as for the optimization and further development of existing OTO/OTC processes.
• Preparation and handover of all technical and commercial documentation to project management for the order start meeting and supporting manufacturing process.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronic or comparable and you have professional experience in service business, service sales or technical sales.
• Some experience with geared variable speed drives, hydrodynamic couplings or electrical drives and in international project management.
• Ideally, you already have some experience with upgrades, replacements and retrofit.
• Very good knowledge in SAP, MS Office applications and very good written and spoken German and English skills are a prerequisite. Further foreign language skills are an advantage.
• Your strong skills include teamwork, independent work, innovative and solution-oriented thinking and a good understanding of service processes.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and strong assertiveness and communication skills round off your profile.
