The program gives you the opportunity to find your individual way within our broad business set-up. We offer you a varying development journey for junior engineers or technical graduates. Your working areas relate to strategically important and current business issues, including high interaction with other departments and interdisciplinary approaches.
The program consists of an appropriate onboarding in your department, including functional and personal trainings dependent on your individual requirements. According to the job set-up and your interests, job rotations and short-term international trips may be included. You additionally benefit from an experienced mentor (m/f/d) who will ensure a well-suited introduction into Voith as a company.

Your tasks

Within Product Management we offer you various projects you can make a valuable contribution. The topics can also create a natural job rotation rhythm as they are interconnected:

• In the area of our sustainability campaign work out criteria and apply them as part of the product portfolio assessments.
• In the area of business development contribute by analyzing markets and trends as well as deriving the appropriate measures for our portfolio and sales.
• Use market analysis, internal coordination and roadmaps for developing tactical ways to increase/ build business volume in selected areas, such as hydrogen economy, carbon capture and storage and energy storage.
• Contribute to the team to drive our digitalization topics (e.g. application of artificial intelligence for process optimization in our core industries).
• Develop coordinated concepts to further increase our aftermarket business together with our service team.

Your profile

• Successfully completed your master's degree in engineering and economics with above-average results and initial experience through internships or working student activities in at least one of the two areas: strategic marketing and/or product management.
• Strong interest in our markets energy, oil, gas, mining & steel and willingness to expand your perspective.
• An activity in a student consultancy as well as international experience in the context of a semester abroad or working abroad are an advantage.
• Business fluent written and spoken English and German skills. Further foreign language skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to create fact-based roadmaps and proposals for action on strategic issues.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to look for economic optimum within identified market opportunities for our company.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
