Director Technical Marketing (w/m/div)
As a technical expert, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Technical System Marketing Team, engaging with standardization authorities worldwide, and providing requirements for Infineon offerings to drive business growth and success
- Designing and developing reference designs and collaterals to support customer design-ins
- Providing top-notch technical support to customers on product and application levels, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Offering expert application-level support to prepare design-ins, including system architecture descriptions, application requirements, and system concept definitions
- Identifying, evaluating, and driving innovation ideas, including technical trend scouting, to stay ahead of the curve and inform the application roadmap
- Breaking down application and product requirements, and defining and analyzing concepts for IFBIP solution offerings, including technical evaluations of alternative concepts
You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. Your strong communication skills and team player mindset support you in your work with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams. You are enthusiastic and are eager to challenge the status quo and to drive new technical fields. With your excellent analytical and interpersonal skills you have the ability to solve highly complex problems. You know how to make use of your potential and motivate yourself and your employees and other stakeholders to achieve top results and performances. With your good instinct you identify high potentials, foster their competences for the long term, and show them development opportunities even beyond their own area of responsibility.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechnical Engineering with electrical experience or equivalent education
- Technical understanding of high-performance power semiconductor applications such as wind, drives, UPS, H2 electrolysis, Charging
- Experience in leading teams
- High level of expertise high power semiconductor in technology, development/ qualification and measurement & test
- Experience in customer communication, design support and problem solving for the customer
- Fluent English and German language skills. Japanese would be added advantage
