Assistant Engineer Cyber Security (w/m/div)
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Collaborate on the development and execution of awareness measures and projects to boost cyber security in our automated production environment
- Work closely with different technical groups and stakeholders to implement tailored security concepts that meet their specific needs
- Support the integration of specialized hardware and software to enhance plant security, ensuring seamless integration with existing network and firewall solutions
- Implement security requirements throughout the asset lifecycle management process, including hardware and software updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for questions related to endpoint protection and backups, and create regular status and test reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Participate in local Cyber Emergency Response Teams (Cyber ERT) to respond to cyber security incidents and ensure swift resolution
Your Profile
As a detail-oriented and analytical problem-solver, you excel at optimizing processes and tackling complex challenges. With strong communication and teamwork skills, you'll thrive in our collaborative environment, working closely with various stakeholders and technical groups.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, communication technology, or a similar discipline) or a technical training
- In-depth knowledge of network and system administration
- Ideally, experience with large IP networks (including architecture, routing, security, and management)
- Proficiency in using MS Office
- Fluent German and basic English language skills
