Lead Engineer (m|f|d) Hydropower control technology

Your tasks

• Manage the technical implementation of hydropower control technology projects based on Siemens and Rockwell control systems.
• Develop system concepts based on project tenders and customer-specific requirements.
• Be responsible for technical and commercial clarification with customers and suppliers.
• Be responsible for the management and implementation of hardware and software engineering throughout the entire duration of the project.
• Create PLC programs and visualization solutions.
• Plan communication and network systems (IEC, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP etc.), taking cyber security requirements into account.
• Be responsible for compliance with costs, deadlines and quality and for creating and checking technical documentation (signal lists, specifications, final documentation) and commissioning control technology systems worldwide.

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation or information technology and several years of professional experience in the field of control systems.
• Extensive experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or Rockwell Studio 5000.
• Good command of written and spoken German and very good command of English; other foreign languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French) are an advantage.
• You are characterized by your results orientation, analytical and teamwork skills as well as your loyalty and high level of commitment.
• Readiness to travel regularly and, if necessary, for longer periods of time and to work on construction sites worldwide.
