Finance Business Partner (m/f/d)

that can support Speira’s Foil business to reach its ambitious growth targets.

The unit Foil is a key pillar of Speira’s business, serving customers in a range of industries including food, beverage and pharmaceutical. As the Finance Business Partner you will be working in close partnership with business unit’s management team, playing an essential role in steering its financial performance and supporting it in reaching its strategic goals. The role has high visibility both within the Foil business as well as towards Speira’s Executive Management Team.

• Delivering best-in-class business performance management:
  • Evaluation of business performance and insightful variance analysis
  • Financial planning underpinned by clear understanding of business trends and KPIs
  • Developing recommendations to optimise business results and supporting the implementation of improvement actions
  • Presenting financial performance to Speira’s Executive Management Team
• Business partnering to support commercial decision-making:
  • Developing the product portfolio strategy in cooperation with sales, production, and planning
  • Assessing business cases to support growth initiatives
  • Delivering the financial fact-base and analyses for customer negotiations
  • Evaluating the profitability of new investments
  • Performing risk assessments
• Leading projects and business improvement initiatives:
  • Development of new controlling-tools and processes, often in cooperation with external consultants
  • Playing a leading role in cross-functional projects

Qualifications that will get you ahead

• University degree in business administration, finance/economics or another relevant field, alternatively relevant professional experience
• 3-7 years’ experience as a Finance Controller, Financial Manager, Management Consulting or in a Financial Services company
• Excellent presentation, communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, results-driven attitude
• Experience in sales or production controlling is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the aluminium industry, especially the rolling or recycling industries, is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and German
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
