Senior Business Implementation Analyst (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Analyse all energy trading related business activities and new trading products regarding implementation requirements for trade life cycle management
• Translate business requirements into technical solution design
• Take over configuration changes in the involved IT systems
• Coordinate change delivery with the business departments and be responsible for successful implementation of requirements
• Organize business testing and work closely with IT team on enhancing the system capabilities
• Work in projects together with business departments and IT
• Maintain close relationship with request originators and IT, challenge, prioritize and escalate if necessary on every level of the delivery
• Drive knowledge sharing in your area of competence and ensure audit proof business change documentation

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, information technologies, natural sciences, economics or comparable studies
• At least 5 years of professional experience, in the energy, commodity or financial trading business
• Proven business analytical skills with a proactive delivery attitude; previous experience working on projects is required
• Demonstrated experience in translation of business requirements into technical solution design
• Solid energy trading, risk management and commodity trade life cycle knowledge and expertise in IT system analysis
• Experience with data modelling and SQL scripting, experience with ETRM software such as Allegro Horizon is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
