WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are seeking a professional like you to join our Procurement team at Münster. As a General Buyer you are part of a global team that continuously develops market intelligence and optimizes the sourcing approach. In this regard, you work closely with Procurement Technical Management to build the bridge between technical and commercial opportunities and risks.

• In this position you handle end-to-end procurement processes focusing on indirect as well as direct procurement activities, and tolling or logistical services.
• Furthermore, you develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiation tactics and support several internal business partners in their daily business.
• You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, are an integrated part of sourcing events while you drive digitalization and optimize projects for procurement activities.
• Additionally, you're responsible for risk management, building supplier relationship as well as supplier development activities.
• Moreover, you execute negotiations and document the results including contracts, the development and implementation of outline agreements as well as the price lists.
• Lastly, you enhance your know-how and build expertise in assigned fields of procurement through active research and participation in trainings or conferences.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• university degree in economics, chemistry or a similar field of study
• experience in procurement, sales, logistics, product management or marketing
• profound knowledge in project management, decision making as well as in SAP
• strong communication skills in both German and English
• team player with strong analytical skills and the flexibility to quickly adapt to changes as well as new challenges
