Job Description

As a Technology Transfer Manager, you play an important role in extending Miltenyi Biotec's innovative and exciting vision of cell-based therapy manufacturing to Japan.

• You plan, organize and manage the smooth technology transfer of our analytical methods and manufacturing processes to our contract CMO in Japan.
• As the technical leader of the international transfer team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of the transfer.
• You will oversee all transfer related activities including relevant training, hands-on work, documentation and timelines within the overall project plan.
• Relationship and stakeholder management with external and internal interface functions.
• You will also support future manufacturing expansion activities.
  

Qualifications

• A relevant university degree in biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, (bio)engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in technology transfer, manufacturing/analytical science and technology (MSAT/ASAT) or CMC development and project management.
• You have a sound knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements and you are enthusiastic to take on responsibility and have a hands-on mentality in a dynamic environment.
• Furthermore, you have excellent intercultural communication skills, a reliable and structured solution-oriented approach and willingness to travel regularly to Japan (4-6/a).
• Very strong English language skills complete your profile; Japanese language skills would be an advantage.
