In your new role, you will:

• Develop wafer technologies with emphasis on electrical chip development in the field of Si-IGBT, SiC-MOSFET and diode power device technologies for wind power, photovoltaic, EV-charging and other, industrial applications
• Coordinate work packages for the technical core team in larger wafer technology development projects
• Clarify requirement specifications and define specifications, assess the impact of requirement specification changes
• Set up systematic experiments for engineering sample builds and plan characterization
• Analyze functional test and characterization results to deduce further improvement needs of high-performance power devices
• Enlarge your comprehension of application requirements as well as gaining a better understanding of competitors' technology

Your Profile

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

• A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, PhD is a plus
  
• At least 1 - 3 years of professional experience in the area of semiconductor technology or product development or application engineering, ideally in electrical chip development or concept engineering within a high-tech company
  
• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of semiconductor device physics, electrical chip development, or power electronics
  
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor processing is a plus
• The willingness and potential to continuously improve and deepen your understanding of the specifics of Si and SiC power devices and application requirements
  
• Interest in product- and application-oriented development of semiconductor wafer technology
  
• Business fluent English skills, German as a plus
