What You Will Do
- Acting as technical key contact for component suppliers (medium and low voltage) regarding development
- Alignment of strategic procurement activities with technical requirements and market trends in strong cooperation with strategic purchasing
- Execution and/or coordination of technical assessments on component or/and system level (medium and low voltage) together with the power plant engineering team
- Responsibility for change management on component level with focus on medium voltage components
- Gaining and providing a detailed market overview of the key components and evaluating different suppliers constantly
- Organizing frequent technical development meetings with suppliers and being in close relationship to our product teams of Groundmounted-PV, Agri-PV, Floating-PV and Storage
- Execution of quality checks on-site and analysing operational data of our power plants
- Involvement in cost analysis of components and systems
- Creation of descriptions and documentation of components
- Working within a team of experts of other functions like, project engineering, product management, construction or procurement
What You Bring
- Qualification as an engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering or in a comparable field
- At least two years of job experience in the PV industry (ideally comprehensive knowledge in the field of transformer stations and/or inverters)
- Deep knowledge in the field of cable calculations (LV and MV)
- Business fluency in English; fluency in other languages would be a plus
- Working proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, PV-syst, Excel, Python and Power Point
- Distinct stakeholder-approach, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
- High motivation to change the renewable energy market by designing and optimizing innovative PV systems
