You like to be at the pulse of time shaping technologies addressing the global Megatrend of decarbonization by enabling renewables and E-Mobility? You are curious about technical solutions? As Project Leader for energy efficient chip development you are able to bring all these aspects into reality while interacting with all parties along the value chain of a power module.
In your new role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Plan, steer and control development projects for Silicon (IGBT & Diode) and Wide Band Gap (SiC & GaN) wafer technologies regarding the compliance of schedule, costs, performance and quality objectives
• Be continuously focused on project quality. You assess progress and ensure that goals are met, even in the face of challenges
• Monitor changes against original project goals and be prepared for adapting plans
• Identify stakeholders and develop relationships while being aware of their interest for the projects
• Conduct risk management
• Maintain the overview and understanding of technical interdependencies in order to identify the most complex problems
• Plan experiments, analyze the results and assess test chips and prototypes
• Support project activities across various Infineon sites

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• An excellent technical understanding, based on a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar, PhD is a plus
• At least 1- 3 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in the area of technology development
• First Project Management experience in terms of project initiation, planning and closing, including reporting and documentation
• First hands-on experience in working on projects or were partly responsible for the project management – experience with MS Project would be a plus
• A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills
• Strong English skills in order to interact successfully with cross-functional teams globally, German is a plus
